"This day is a nightmare. Everything's been going wrong - ever since I even got up. First of all, I couldn't change my tyres, they told me at the servicing point that there's no question of finding as little as 20 minutes to put my car on the jacks cause they're snowed under work. Straight after that I got into a terrible row with my boss - believe me, she can be a real pain in the neck, the headmistress. And you know how I hate phonies - and she's all about showing off. If she had only told me in advance what she had been planning, that ridiculous situation wouldn't have come into place. Just as if that wasn't enough, I didn't manage to record a CD I needed - man, that really couldn't have got worse."

And in the evening he sent me an SMS message:
"Thank you for lifting my spirits. You enhanced my day. When you left, I went back to the car service and - guess what - they changed my tyres in 15 minutes :)"
